Greek chicken with lemon and oregano, or Kotopoulo riganato as it is called in Greek, is a rustic recipe of chicken served with plenty of lemon and oregano.

Sprinkle the salt and pepper all over the chicken pieces, followed by the oregano. Set aside for a few minutes.

Step 1

Heat olive oil in pan. Fry chickens until brown. Transfer the browned chicken to a pot.

Step 2

Strain the oil that you used to fry the chicken, and pour it over the chicken in the pot.

Step 3

Whisk lemon juice and flour. Add water and stir to combine. Pour this over the chicken.

Step 4

Cover your pot and bring to a boil. Cook for 20-25 minutes. Serve your chicken with the sauce from the pot poured over it.
