Broccoli 🥦 was never a hated vegetable in our house. No one cringed when it was served. No one pushed it around on their plate until they could slip it to the dog (not that we had a dog). We simply ate it, because we loved it. Seriously. And our parents only ever served it one way, steamed broccoli served with olive oil and lemon.

Looking for a classic, Greek soup? Look no further than avgolemono soup. This is the Greek version to chicken noodle soup - our parents always made it for us when we were feeling under the weather, when we were tired, stressed, or dealing with heartache. It was also a soup they turned to when everything was going just fine, but the weather had begun to turn chilly.

Our parents have two pear 🍐 trees in their garden and as they have grown, and produced more and more fruit every year, our father realized that there were just so many pears you could eat, just like that!

Looking for comfort food? Or just hoping for something cheesy, full of carbs and a delicious meat sauce? Our baked ziti is the answer!

Our parents called us yesterday morning to let us know that today they would be making us supper. Our only responsibility was to drive by and pick it up (and fix their remote control while we were there!).

You know what we love? Ooey, gooey cheese, sandwiched between crispy, buttery (but not greasy) bread...with a little extra something inside. It's easy to get lost and confused in the many, many options the internet sometimes affords us. Take recipes for pumpkin 🎃 bread for example. There are probably as many recipes for pumpkin bread as there are pumpkins (that may be a slight exaggeration)!
